Functional Overview

  • The T-2000 is designed to consolidate large or multiple JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) enclosures.
  • Digi-Data or other popular JBOD enclosures are supported as storage modules.
  • One to four controllers can be connected in a cluster
  • With eight fibre channel ports per controller, which are configurable for either disk or host connectivity, the system can be tuned for access-intensive or capacity-intensive environments (or, anything in between).

Goal: Reduce complexity and cost by consolidating storage into a large system, versus managing multiple smaller "storage islands".
