The Digi-Data SA-48 sets a new standard in the design of mass storage enclosures and provides unsurpassed disk storage capacity in a single enclosure. Combined with a pair of T-2000 controllers, this enterprise storage enclosure offers 24 TB of high-availability and very high bandwidth (700 MB/s) storage.

As the importance of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) grows, the SA-48 provides an ideal solution to the secondary disk storage needs of compliance, disk-to-disk backup, and CAS environments. The innovative enclosure design ensures that for the first time customers will have a mass storage enclosure that allows drives to remain on-line and active during serviceability or maintenance.
